Charity Night Show

It’s a wonderful Moartz tradition, that with every production we identify a subject matter in the play and choose a related local charity to promote and support. One of our characters, Trevor (played by Gaz Harding) calls a help line, so jumping on board with Lifeline Gippsland was a no-brainer for us.

We dedicate one performance to our chosen charity and it falls on;

Thursday 22nd of May @ 7.30pm

$5 from ever ticket sold will be donated directly to helping the local community through Lifeline Gippsland. Donation boxes will be available at all other shows for personal donations or you can jump on their website right now to show your support: https://www.llg.org.au/

Everyday Lifeline Gippsland makes a difference to people’s lives through a broad range of programs and services that deliver information and support to the most vulnerable members of our community. At the heart of our services is the Lifeline 24-hour crisis support line which provides people with support for a range of issues including depression and other mental illnesses, substance abuse, domestic violence and more.

Our mission is to support people in crisis, help to create a resilient community, and prevent suicide through a wide range of crisis support and suicide prevention services, including the 24/7 crisis line 13 11 14 and local programs and campaigns. These activities are tailored to assist us to achieve our vision of an Australia free of suicide, where no one has to face their darkest moments alone

Lifeline Gippsland operates thanks to the support of volunteers, and the generosity of our sponsors and donors.  Without this help, Lifeline Gippsland could not provide such valuable services to our community, including the 13 11 14 crisis phone line.
